01 Introduction
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") is issued by pk56 ("pk56", "we", "us", "our") and applies to personal information collected through the pk56 website at https://pk56.cam ("Platform") and any associated services. It sets out how we collect, use, store, share and protect personal data relating to users of the Platform ("User", "you", "your").
pk56 is an English-language online gambling information platform designed for Pakistani players. We cover sports betting markets — including Pakistan cricket, PSL/T20 and ICC tournaments — live casino, slots and responsible gambling education. In the course of operating the platform, we necessarily process certain personal information about users who register accounts, interact with content or make use of Platform features.
By accessing or using the pk56 Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any aspect of this Policy, you should cease using the Platform. This Policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions and Responsible Gambling Policy, both of which are incorporated by reference.
Notice to Pakistani users: pk56 does not claim to be licensed, approved or regulated by any Pakistani government authority, the PTA, the State Bank of Pakistan or any Pakistani bank or payment provider. References to Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah are informational only. None of these entities endorse this platform or are affiliated with it.
02 Definitions
The following defined terms are used throughout this Privacy Policy:
Any information that identifies or can be used to identify a natural person, directly or indirectly — including name, email address, IP address, device identifiers and financial account details.
Any operation performed on personal data, including collection, storage, retrieval, use, disclosure, erasure or destruction, whether by automated means or otherwise.
The entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data. For data collected directly by this Platform, pk56 is the Data Controller.
A third party that processes personal data on behalf of the Data Controller under a contractual arrangement and subject to the Controller's instructions.
A freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication by the User of their agreement to the processing of their personal data for a stated purpose.
Know Your Customer — identity and age verification processes, which may include submission of a CNIC, passport, proof of address or liveness/selfie check.
A small text file placed on your device by a website server to store information about your browsing session or preferences.
03 Data We Collect
pk56 collects personal data in the following categories depending on how you interact with the Platform:
3.1 Registration & Account Data
When you create a pk56 account, we collect your full name, email address, date of birth, chosen username and, where applicable, your residential city (for example, Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan or Peshawar). This information is required to create and manage your account.
3.2 Identity Verification (KYC) Data
To comply with age verification and anti-money-laundering (AML) obligations, users may be required to submit identity documents. These may include a Pakistani CNIC or passport, a proof of address document and a selfie or liveness verification image. These documents must be submitted only through the Platform's secure HTTPS verification flow. KYC documents are processed under strict confidentiality controls and are never transmitted via unsecured channels.
3.3 Financial & Transaction Data
When processing deposits or withdrawals — which may involve payment references such as Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast or bank transfers via HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank or Bank Alfalah — we may collect transaction identifiers, payment method references and PKR amounts. We do not store full financial account credentials. These payment provider names are cited as familiar Pakistani payment rails only and do not imply endorsement.
3.4 Technical & Usage Data
We automatically collect certain technical data when you access the Platform. This includes your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, pages visited, time spent on pages, referral URL and session identifiers. This data is used to maintain platform security, diagnose technical issues and improve user experience.
3.5 Communications Data
If you contact our support team, we retain records of that communication — including the content of messages, your contact details and any attachments — for the purpose of resolving your enquiry and maintaining a support history.
pk56 collects only the data necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as religious beliefs, political opinions or health data unless expressly required by regulatory process.
04 Purpose & Legal Basis for Processing

05 Data Processing
5.1 How We Process Your Data
Personal data collected by pk56 is processed by authorised personnel and, where applicable, by third-party data processors who operate under contractual obligations consistent with this Policy. All processing activities are subject to appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.
5.2 Automated Decision-Making
pk56 may use automated processes to perform certain functions, including fraud screening, identity document verification and responsible gambling monitoring. Where automated decisions produce significant effects on users, we provide a mechanism to request human review. You may contact our support team to challenge any automated decision affecting your account.
5.3 Responsible Gambling Data
As part of our responsible gambling obligations, we monitor account activity to identify behavioural patterns that may indicate problem gambling. This processing is carried out in the interest of user protection. Where self-exclusion requests are received, the relevant data is retained for the duration of the exclusion period to prevent re-registration.
06 Data Sharing & Disclosure
pk56 does not sell, rent or trade personal data with any third party for their own commercial purposes. We may share personal data in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers & Data Processors: Third parties engaged to provide services on our behalf — such as identity verification providers, payment processing infrastructure, cloud hosting and analytics services — may access personal data solely to the extent necessary to perform their contracted services and under binding data processing agreements.
- Regulatory & Legal Disclosure: We may disclose personal data to regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies or courts where required to do so by applicable law, court order or governmental instruction. This includes AML reporting obligations and responses to legally binding requests.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred to the successor entity. Users will be notified of any such transfer and of any changes to the applicable privacy terms.
- Platform Protection: We may disclose data where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent fraud, investigate security breaches or protect the rights, property or safety of pk56, its users or third parties.
In all cases of third-party data sharing, we take steps to ensure that appropriate data protection safeguards are in place consistent with the nature of the data transferred and applicable legal requirements.
07 Data Retention
pk56 retains personal data for no longer than is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, subject to any mandatory retention periods imposed by applicable law.
- Account Data: Retained for the duration of your account and for a period thereafter as required by applicable law and to manage any outstanding obligations, disputes or regulatory requirements.
- KYC & Identity Documents: Retained for a minimum period required by anti-money-laundering regulations, typically five years from the date of the last transaction or account closure, whichever is later.
- Transaction Records: Financial transaction records are retained for a minimum of five years in compliance with AML and financial record-keeping obligations.
- Communication Records: Support communications and complaints are retained for a minimum of three years to facilitate dispute resolution and service improvement.
- Self-Exclusion Records: Records of self-exclusion requests are retained for the duration of the exclusion period and a reasonable period thereafter to prevent re-registration.
- Technical & Usage Data: Anonymised or aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely. Individually identifiable technical data is retained only as long as necessary for security and operational purposes.
Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or anonymised in a manner that prevents reconstruction of the original data.
08 Security Measures
pk56 implements a range of technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These measures include:
- TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit between user devices and Platform servers.
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest, including identity documents and financial records.
- Role-based access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis.
- Security monitoring and logging to detect and respond to unauthorised access attempts.
- Regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments of platform infrastructure.
- Prohibition on transmission of identity documents or financial data via email or unencrypted chat.
User Responsibility: The security of your account also depends on you. Never share your login credentials with any third party. Use a strong, unique password for your pk56 account. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact our support team immediately at [email protected].
Whilst pk56 takes all reasonable measures to protect personal data, no system of data security is completely impenetrable. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet. In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a high risk to users' rights, we will notify affected users in a timely manner in accordance with applicable obligations.
09 Cookies & Tracking Technologies
pk56 uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Platform, analyse usage patterns and personalise user experience. The following categories of cookies may be deployed:
| Cookie Type | Purpose | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Session management, authentication, security tokens and basic site functionality. Without these, the Platform cannot operate. | Yes |
| Functional | Remembering user preferences such as language settings, display preferences and previously viewed content. | Optional |
| Analytics | Collecting anonymised or aggregated data about how users interact with the Platform to improve performance and content quality. | Optional |
| Security | Fraud detection, bot identification and protection against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and other security threats. | Yes |
You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent the Platform from functioning correctly. Blocking optional cookies will not prevent you from using the Platform but may limit some personalisation features. pk56 does not deploy advertising or third-party tracking cookies for the purpose of targeting users across external sites.
10 User Rights
Subject to applicable data protection law and any overriding legal obligations such as AML record-keeping requirements, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data held by pk56:
Right of Access
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, along with information about how it is processed and shared.
Right to Rectification
You have the right to request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data held in your account. You can update certain information directly from your account settings.
Right to Erasure
You may request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purposes it was collected, subject to mandatory legal retention requirements such as AML regulations.
Right to Restriction
In certain circumstances, you may request that we restrict the processing of your personal data — for example, while a dispute about the accuracy of that data is being resolved.
Right to Portability
Where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means, you may request your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to Object
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests — including profiling for marketing purposes. Processing for marketing will cease upon a valid objection. Processing for legal compliance may continue.
To exercise any of the above rights, please contact our support team at [email protected] (displayed as plain text only — please do not use a clickable link). We will respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable timeframe. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing certain requests. Note that some rights are qualified by overriding legal obligations — we will explain any applicable limitation when responding.
11 Children's Privacy
The pk56 Platform is strictly intended for adults who are 18 years of age or older — or the higher minimum age required by the applicable licence jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from any person under the applicable minimum age. If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a minor, we will take immediate steps to delete that data and close the associated account.
Parents or guardians who believe that a minor has created an account or submitted personal data to pk56 are encouraged to contact us immediately at [email protected] so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Age verification through KYC is a mandatory step for accessing financial features of the Platform. We take our obligations to prevent underage gambling seriously and treat this as a non-negotiable compliance requirement.
12 International Data Transfers
pk56 operates internationally and some of the third-party service providers we engage — such as cloud infrastructure providers, identity verification systems and analytics platforms — may process personal data in jurisdictions outside Pakistan. When personal data is transferred to a country that does not provide equivalent data protection standards, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place. These may include:
- Standard contractual clauses or equivalent data transfer mechanisms between pk56 and receiving parties.
- Binding data processing agreements requiring recipients to maintain confidentiality and implement appropriate security measures.
- Technical controls such as encryption and access restriction applied to data before and during transfer.
By using the pk56 Platform, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed in jurisdictions outside Pakistan. We process such transfers with appropriate care and in compliance with applicable data protection obligations.
13 Amendments to This Policy
pk56 reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in applicable law, regulatory requirements, platform features or data processing practices. When material changes are made, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
- Post a prominent notice on the Platform advising users of the update.
- Where practicable, notify registered users via the email address on their account where changes are particularly significant.
Your continued use of the pk56 Platform following notification of a Policy update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. The most current version is always available at https://pk56.cam/privacy-policy.
